Audience Insights Affinity Ranking Returns
Thank you, Facebook.
Thank you for not communicating that Audience Insights Affinity Rank was going to be pulled.
Sarcasm ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑
Thank you for confirming through several support channels in writing that the Affinity Rank is going away permanently.
Sarcasm ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑
But, even more, thank you for not announcing to a single soul that you were flipping the switch back on.
Sarcasm? Maybe a bit, but you know what?
It's such good news that I'm not being cynical.
With not so much as a peep, Facebook very quietly inserted their Affinity Score Rank into their Audience Insights.
This is great news!
For those Facebook Marketers that have depended upon the Affinity Ranking score to dig into and surface many new relevant Interests to target, we know just how powerful this is.
What's even better is at first glance, it appears the mass relevance results, such as Tasty, Amazon, and Wal-Mart, which returned as top relevant sites to almost every interest you put in during the Affinity absence, are now accurately calculated out of the equation.

So here's what you're likely to find if you log into Audience Insights today:
What About The “Insiders Affinity” Chrome Extension You Created?
So many of my Insiders AI Journal subscribers might be asking, “Will, what about your Chrome Extension you developed for your to create calculations while inserting your “Insiders Affinity” scoring?
Great question, and even better news!
I've kept that updated so it works perfectly in conjunction with the new results. So not only can you continue to see the “Insiders Affinity” rank using the private Chrome Extension, but you'll now be able to keep Facebook's new Affinity rank honest.
It will work with full compatibility and actually enhances your ability to validate the target audience relevance.
It's awesome… take a look:
